A defining moment in our journey came through our partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union. Under a three-year agreement, Brecon Brewing was selected as the exclusive brewer to create bespoke beers for one of the most iconic names in world rugby.

We were the only brewery commissioned to craft the WRU Gold Ale and WRU IPA - two refreshing, expertly balanced beers designed for standout flavour and drinkability. Brewed exclusively for the WRU, each ale reflected our commitment to quality, character, and modern British brewing.

Served across every bar in the Principality Stadium, these distinctive beers became part of the match-day experience, enjoyed by thousands of supporters at the heart of Welsh rugby. From kick-off to the final whistle, Brecon Brewing was proud to pour the taste of the WRU.
